Resources

Here’s a list of incredible resources for anyone interested in delving further into the world of Primal/Paleo/Real Foods living:

Mark’s Daily Apple

Created by author, fitness guru, and supplement provider Mark Sisson.   This website covers just about everything you need to know when it comes to Primal/Paleo lifestyle.  I highly recommend that you start here. He provides some great information, for free, that will give you a great understanding of the logic and science behind his philosophy.

Robb Wolf

Robb Wolf’s book- The Paleo Solution- served as my introduction into this lifestyle.  His writing, although light and hilarious at times, goes into tremendous detail that is clearly a result of his experience as a research biochemist.  He was also a huge supporter of CrossFit during its beginning stages, and founded the well-known NorCal Strength and Conditioning in Chico, California.

Slim Palate

This is quite possibly my favorite blog on the internet right now.  Written by a 17 year-old (!!??) named Josh Weissman, the blog is beautifully designed with breathtaking photography, recipes, and restaurant reviews.  This kid has the potential to be a legend within the food world as a whole, not just the Primal/Paleo community.

The Domestic Man

This blog was created by a man named Russ Crandall, who has rehabilitated himself through Primal/Paleo based cooking following the diagnosis of a serious autoimmune disease and major open heart surgery.  He posts internationally-inspired recipes on a weekly basis that highlight the healthiest and most delicious dishes that come from every culture imaginable.

Nom Nom Paleo

Started by a hardcore foodie, this site is a tremendous resource for recipes, and restaurant reviews.

Summer Tomato

Written by neuroscience PHD, Darya Rose, this practical blog is designed to help people adopt  healthier eating habits with a focus on eating real, organic foods.  It offers a variety of content ranging from recipes to shopping tips to mindfulness eating practices.
